Clancey will join the team's front office immediately, where he will assist General Manager Kyle Dubas in player acquisition, contract negotiation, and roster management.

Clancey brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Maple Leafs, having spent the past five seasons as the Assistant General Manager with the St. Louis Blues. During his tenure in St. Louis, Clancey played a key role in the team's success, including their Stanley Cup victory in 2019. He is widely regarded as one of the top personnel executives in the NHL, with a reputation for identifying and developing young talent.
