Celtics Dominate Mavericks In Game 3

Celtics Take Commanding 3-0 Lead in NBA Finals

Celtics Dominate Mavericks in Game 3

Boston's Jaylen Brown Shines with 22 Points

In a thrilling battle at the American Airlines Center on Saturday, the Boston Celtics extended their lead in the NBA Finals to 3-0 with a commanding 106-99 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. Led by a stellar performance from Jaylen Brown, who poured in 22 points, the Celtics outplayed the Mavericks from start to finish. Despite the absence of their injured superstar Luka Doncic, the Celtics showed no signs of complacency. They dominated the paint, outrebounding the Mavericks 52-33. Porzingis also made a significant impact, coming off the bench to contribute 20 points and 10 rebounds. The Celtics' defense was equally impressive, holding the Mavericks to just 37.3% shooting from the field. Jayson Tatum, Brown's co-star, added 21 points, while Derrick White and Payton Pritchard chipped in with 18 and 17 points, respectively. The Mavericks, who had stunned the Celtics in Game 2, were clearly out of sync without Doncic. Spencer Dinwiddie led the scoring with 19 points, while Dorian Finney-Smith added 16. However, the Celtics' defense proved too much to overcome. With the Celtics now just one game away from their 18th NBA championship, the Mavericks have an uphill battle ahead of them. Game 4 is scheduled for Monday night in Dallas, and the Mavericks will need a miraculous comeback if they want to keep their title hopes alive.
